This picture was taken at the height of one of my psychotic episodes. It is a reminder of all I’ve overcome, endured and survived.

I am a suicide and PPD survivor - diagnosed bipolar I with a touch of schizoaffective. If you’re a mental health organization reading this, I am who you serve. I know exactly what it means to live with a mental health condition - the fight to stay healthy, pushing through stigma, and, most importantly, what it takes to recover and live an abundant, joyful life alongside illness.

As a seasoned marketer, I had the choice to serve many different types of organizations with my 15+ years of expertise. I purposely chose the mental health space because I am the target market. I have lived experience and wisdom that is invaluable and precious for sales teams and fundraisers.

Inbound Idelle is also a revenue stream for The Delapena-Portillo Foundation - my true mission. Through the Foundation, I plan to grant money to nonprofits improving the lives of those with mental health conditions, create programs and advocacy around breaking the stigma of getting help for ALL people, and also touch on financial health and how it ties to mental health.
